Maddi Ward is an artist and graphic designer whose work is inspired by natural simplicity.

Her artworks are an extension of her lived experience and growth while living on Wailwan Country. Maddi connects with her Aboriginal culture through the ancient practice of weaving. This holds a special place in her heart, being able to contribute to its continuation. Weaving has helped Maddi explore her identity as well as the loss, trauma and disconnect she and her family have experienced.
Recently Maddi has released a range of weaving artworks exploring a variety of techniques and applications as well as practical use nostalgic leatherwork.

She holds a Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Graphic Design with experience in strategic marketing, website design, branding, presentation and print materials.
